Happy Friday!!!!

Hey Folks!! Well, I THOUGHT today was Bandcamp Friday, but apparently it’s been canceled. But no matter. Today is the 25 month anniversary of “Siren’s Song” being released, so I’ll celebrate that today!! I’ve been working hard promoting my album, and I have two new albums in the works which will be out later this year. It’s been a long road and a bumpy ride, but I’m so grateful for the love and encouragement I have received from many folks near and far.
When I was writing the songs for “Siren’s Song” I had an idea in my head of what I wanted the album to be about and how the cover should look. I was fortunate enough to have my dear friend Les volunteer his time, efforts, and talent to photograph me with my banjo on the beach at 7am. I love looking through the photos, as it brings me back to a moment in my life when I was joyous yet fearful, determined yet anxious, strong yet vulnerable. I had a great time at that photo shoot, and I can only think how far I’ve come and where I’m off to next. As we all should, stay tuned…
Thanks, Folks. Take care & be well!!

My debut album β€œSiren’s Song” is officially for sale @FingerprintsMusic in Long Beach, CA!!!!! Thanks to the folks who work there for selling my album!! I am very excited to be expanding and have physical copies of my album available for sale. It’s so important to support local artists and musicians and music stores by buying physical copies of music. It pays WAY more than streaming platforms and allows musicians to actually make a decent living. What a concept, right? So without further ado, get thee to Fingerprints Music and you can find β€œSiren’s Song” in the Folk section!!! Thanks in advance!!! βœ‹πŸ€šβœ‹πŸ»πŸ€šπŸ»βœ‹πŸΌπŸ€šπŸΌβœ‹πŸ½πŸ€šπŸ½βœ‹πŸΎπŸ€šπŸΎβœ‹πŸΏπŸ€šπŸΏ

Happy One Year Anniversary, πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ “Siren’s Song” πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ

Hello, Folks!
It’s been exactly one year (May 4, 2019) since my banjo debut album πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ “Siren’s Song” πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ was released into the wild! It’s been an incredible (albeit daunting!) experience to have my music out in the public, for public consumption. But it’s been great to get to share, explore new styles, collaborate with other artists, and meet other like-minded musical souls.
My album is in a few music stores in California, Seattle, and Nashville. However because of the pandemic, the only way to hear my album is online. But you’re in luck! Because you can listen/buy the album on most streaming platforms! (iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, etc) Yay!!
Also, I have been blessed to work with the amazing Vanessa Gentry and Kevin D Wong on not one but TWO music videos from πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ “Siren’s Song.” πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈWe are currently working on the second video which was filmed over the past six months. Unfortunately our plans got delayed a bit in terms of releasing the video due to the pandemic, but I shall let you know more details once we get everything in order. Thank you for your patience.
Once again, THANK YOU all for your love, encouragement, and support as I am extremely proud of πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ “Siren’s Song” πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ and all the doors that is has opened for me. I already recorded a jazz album in February (which I hope to release later this year), and I am working on a second banjo album of original songs!! Very excited to be keeping busy with all of my musical projects!!
Much love to you all, and May the Fourth Be With You. Always.

Happy January 2020!! ‍- New Music Video 🧜🧜

Good evening, Folks!! 2020 is shaping up to be pretty spectacular so far!! I am shooting a SECOND music video from my debut album “Siren’s Song” tomorrow, and I am so excited and proud of the work done on the video thus far!!Β
β€πŸ§œΒ “Siren’s Song” 🧜 came out 8 months ago today, and if you haven’t heard it or purchased it yet, please do so!!Β
The video I’m filming tomorrow is for my song “When Will We Learn” which is a song I wrote with a heavy heart about coping with the aftermath of gun violence. It’s a beautiful song, and the video will reflect how this affects us all.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful new year and being productive, finding success, and happiness; and learning, loving, and living as much as possible. Happy January!!

Happy Holidays!! πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽπŸŽˆ

Well, Folks, it’s been a long road & a busy and eventful year for me. 2019 was great for many reasons!! I am thrilled to say that my debut album πŸ§œβ€ “Siren’s Song” πŸ§œβ€ is doing very well! My album is for sale in stores in 6 record stores in California (Boo Boo Records and Cheap Thrills in San Luis Obispo, Amoeba Music in San Francisco and Berkeley, the Musical Offerings Cafe in Berkeley, the Music Store in West Portal, SF) and 2 record stores in Seattle (Easy Street Records and Silver Platters)!! I have been slowly but surely touring and going around playing shows and promoting myself as often as possible. As an independent artist, it’s quite difficult to do everything on your own, including promotions, bookings, cold callings, as well as actual performing, and writing new material. Despite the difficulties, I have a lot planned for the next decade. I am working on a top secret album which I am recording in February (hint: 🎷🎷🎹🎹🎧🎧🎼🎼🎀🎀), and I already have a new banjo album lined up for release in 2020, which I have been steadily working on for the past few months. Everything in this game and this industry is all a matter of pacing, timing, perspective, & determination. I must say, I appreciate EVERYONE who has supported me, come out to my shows, booked me for gigs, and who has steadily been there for me as an artist, and as a person. The love I feel from my tribe and my community is amazing and unwavering, and I could not, and would not be where I am today without every single one of you. From the bottom of me heart, THANK YOU!! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year! Let’s ring in the 2020’s in style!! πŸŽŠπŸŽŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Lucky Seven!! Happy December!! πŸŽπŸŽπŸ•―οΈπŸ•―οΈ

Good afternoon, Folks! Today is the 7-month anniversary of my debut album “Siren’s Song” being released into the world! It’s been a wild year for sure!! I’m already in the process of recording another album, and I have so much on my plate. I’ve been working to book shows and get a tour going as well which has proved trickier than I anticipated, but I suppose the struggle is part of the game, right?

I have also been working on a new music video for my song “When Will We Learn” which is a song I wrote after the Las Vegas shootings, and how we need to do better as a country regarding gun control. If you haven’t heard my album, or this song, check it out. It was one of the hardest songs for me to write, but I think it will resonate with a lot of folks.

I am lucky that I have a very loving community and lots of friends & family supporting me, and I am eternally grateful that people regularly come to my shows/Farmer’s Markets/gigs and stop by & say hello! It means the world to a performer to have loved ones in the audience!! Thank you to all of you! Lots of love & peace to you this holiday season. We could all use more love in the world.
